Role and Responsibilities:
- The MD steers the overall affairs of LARN.
- The MD acts in good faith in what he honestly believes to be the best interest of LARN, and not for any collateral purpose.

- At all times, the Liberia-Australia Relationship Network - LARN should attempt to seek independent direction and instruction from the person they support or represent; i.e. direction and instruction which is independently informed and independently communicated, as well as free of undue influence, free of compliance and free of conflict of interest


Experience and Education:
Mr. Jerue has a vast community service experience; he formerly served as:

  • School Principal in the Republic of Guinea,

  • President for the Federation of Liberian Communities in Australia,

  • President of the Multicultural Council of the Northern Territory, and

  • {APS} Service Officer within the Australian Government department of Human Services.

 

George earned Certificates in:

  • Administration,

  • Business,

  • Investigations,

  • Training & Assessment and

  • Security operations.

Role and Responsibilities:
- The AMD assists the MD in coordinating the affairs of LARN.
- The AMD supervises and evaluates the performances of all LARN's staff.

- Establish a clear and transparent direction to guide their advocacy support or representation, to protect or defend the person‘s wellbeing, rights or interests, directed and guided by the principles of relevant laws, regulations, standards, charters and conventions

 

Experience and Education:
Mr. Dulleh has a longstanding community service experiences in:

  • Justice of the Peace,

  • Community Social Coordinator.

  • President of the Association of Liberian Community in New South Wales,

  • President of the Federation of Australian Mandingo Association,

  • Executive of the Federation of Liberian Communities in Australia Incorporated.

 

Varmah earned Certificates in:

  • Social Works and

  • Enrolled Nursing.

Role and Responsibilities:
- The BFO is the custodian of all LARN's documents.
- The BFO is the chief communicator for LARN.
- He develops and enforces strong internal controls and financial management policies.

Develop and enforce strong internal controls and financial management policies.

Ensure accurate and complete financial reporting and proper maintenance of financial records and information/tax returns

 

Experience and Education:
Mr. Pewee is an experienced in:

  • Advocate and a community leader. He has more than 13 years of experience providing community services.

  • National Director of the Liberian All-Star Australia FC,

  • Two times Secretary General for the Federation of Liberian Communities in Australia,

  • Immediate past President of the Liberian Community of South Australia.

 

Perry obtained Degree: 

  • Postgraduate degree in Taxation Law,

  • Undergraduate degrees in Applied Finance and Commerce Accounting; and

  • Certificate in Community Service Work.

Role and Responsibilities:

The CEO Works collaboratively, as is required to operate in good faith with all stakeholders, and to work towards collaborative outcomes wherever possible.

- Developing and managing key stakeholder relationships (e.g. Governments, NGOs, International Organizations with a direct and indirect relevance programs.

- Organizing external affairs events and meetings and coordinating internal and external engagements, working in conjunction with the Director, on External Affairs

 

Experience and Education:

Amb. Jabateh Sr. has experience in:

  • Community leadership,

  • Conflict resolution.;

  • International Relations

 

Shick Studied and earned:

  • Master of Business Administration Logistics and Supplies Chain Management (AIB)

  • Currently doing his Second Master of International Relations (UNSW)

  • Diploma in Community Services (AGB Training College)

  • Cyber Security (Kangan College Vic)

  • Certificate III & IV In Warehousing Operations Supervisor. 

  • Certificate IV in Disability Services (Karingal Training Collage)

Role and responsibilities:
- The YWEO Shall provide strategic support, advice and contribute to programs relating to women development.

- The YWEO shall manage competing priorities and projects.

- The YWEO shall develop appropriate contacts, partnerships and strategic alliances with external bodies, including state government, non-government organizations, tertiary institutions and community groups, on issues relevant to women and youth in our local community
 

Experience and education:

Ms. Bouard has experiences in:

  • Strong mobilization and convincing skills among women and children services,

  • Long-term involvement and distinct records of community services within the state of Western Australia,

  • President of the Association of Liberian Community in Western Australia,

  • Assistant Director for Women's Affairs with the Organization of African Communities Western Australia.

  • Chairperson for the Courageous Women Multicultural Network.

  • Transitional worker at NPSM-National Psychosocial Support Measure.
